Wedding Crashers
We can’t sneak into Heaven claiming we belong to a certain club or religion anymore than we can sneak into a wedding reception not knowing the Groom. The touchstone -test or criterion for determining your relationship with God begins with how you describe that relationship... The early followers of Jesus were simply called Christians and from a pagan point of view the word was putdown meaning no more than “little Christs”. If we as Christians -we identify our belief as anything other than that then maybe we need make sure we are not an “uninvited wedding crasher!”
Your Wedding Day
What can be worse -your wedding day -you’re dressed in your finest-it is supposed to be perfect then you discover a stain...
You are supposed to be spotless! This has been planned for so long!
Relatives. Guests. There is no second chance; no spare clothes!
It doesn’t matter that 99% of your attire is spotless -the soiled area draws all attention and has ruined perfection.
So it is with sin. You can claim you do good works but the bad in your life has left you “soiled” and unpresentable for God’s banquet or marriage supper. Only those who wear the robes of righteousness of Jesus Christ can stay.
Don’t get kicked out of your own wedding.
“Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come. . .
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.”

Cults keep you from Knowing...
Cults keep you from knowing the TRUTH of Jesus Christ.
If all you can see is what they tell you -cults can convince you “only they” have the truth. Jesus warned of false teachers who are so clever as wolves that they dress up in sheep’s clothing.
How to tell a cult? Any group that teaches Jesus Christ is less than
Almighty God -or is merely an angel -is a cult.
God is the greatest Story Teller
If God is the greatest Story Teller,
then shouldn’t His story be the most exciting?
Yesterday I met a movie buff who was a self-proclaimed atheist because he had seen too much pain and sorrow in the world.
“What about all the good you also see?” I asked him.
“Yes, but why does God allow the wicked to succeed...?”
A movie wouldn’t hold our attention if every evil thought got snuffed out before the villain could get his evil plan off the ground.
And so it is with life. God authored the beginning and He completed the end. What happens in the middle does not change the end. God wins. His people are victorious. Evil is punished.
We do not see the entire picture clearly now, but we’ve seen enough of life to see “he who digs a pit, falls into it.”
Regimes rise and fall -as do dictators.
We can rest assured that the Masterful Story Teller God -works out all details of plot according to His Plan!
